Shortly after Hurricane Irene, real estate attorney Rich Vetstein put together a little summary on what types of damage are typically covered under Massachusetts homeowner’s insurance policies. Note that most of us, unless we live in a designated flood zone, are NOT covered for flooding, unless we specifically elect flood coverage. Might be something to consider, given our recent weather.
