Okay, I think this is very cool…. Had never heard of it, but there’s a program called Jane Jacobs Walk that organizes annual neighborhood walking/biking tours each May, celebrating “the people and places that make a city great.”
This Saturday both Cambridge & Somerville are hosting Jane walks — Cambridge’s happens to be in my very own Central Square / Area Four neighborhood, and Somerville’s is in and around Magoun Square. The weather’s not supposed to be great, but still should be a lot of fun, and a great way to meet some neighbors — I’m just torn over which to go to!
