Oh, how I wish things were normal and we were all in the midst of planning big Thanksgiving gatherings with our family and loved ones. Alas... this is going to be a very different holiday this year, with less travel, fewer loved ones around the dinner table, but perhaps more of a realization of all we really have to be thankful for. I don't think any of us take being safe and in good health for granted these days.
With that in mind, I hope you will consider making a donation to support Community Servings' amazing work preparing and delivering scratch-made meals to our Massachusetts neighbors living with critical illness. The annual Pie in the Sky event is the organization's largest annual fundraiser, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars (last year they raised $850,000!) -- this money is needed more than ever this year.
Due to the pandemic, operations have been streamlined, there are only two flavors to choose from, and pick up sites have been consolidated -- but really, the best thing you can do to help would be to order a "pie for a client," which is a direct donation.
