My favorite excerpt from this piece is the observation, “A marked-up plywood board bears the kind of graffiti you get only in Cambridge. ‘Stupid Vandals’ someone has scribbled. Below it, from someone else: “Sacking Rome and everything.”’ It’s true… Cambridge is a different kind of city, and Kendall is a different kind of neighborhood.
